The Monte Sella Alpine Club and Norbert introduce the summer programme for 2010.

On the mountains with love:

trekking, excursions, climbing scools,

snowshoes walks, guided  skiing, activities with difficulty levels ranging from easy to challenging- so you can enjoy yourself in harmony with nature and with your friends while sharing the fun and a serene peacefulness.

The excursions are part of a weekly programm that contains various activities, including a rock climbing school (particularly raccomended for excursions no. 3-4 and 5) avaiable from June 21th on one of the days preceding the excursions.

• Excursion no. 1 
  thursday 17th, friday 18th and saturday 19th of June 2010

• from Lajon to Castelrotto and Fié on the Ancient Postal Path

Undemanding excursion to explore the age-old mysteries of the legends of Val Gardena and the Sciliar Nature Park while following on the footsteps of the minstrel, Oswald Von Wolkenstein, on a journey to discover the art,culture,foods and wines of an area filled with natural wonders. Difficulty Level: T

• Excursion no. 2

  thursday 24th, friday 25th and saturday 26th of June 2010

• on Croda del Becco and across the wild canyons of Fanes

Medium-easy excursion in the high mountains. Alpine Guide Ernesto will take participants on a journey to discover a number of fascinating, unfamiliar spots in the furthest reaches of Marebbe as participants enjoy endless, strikingly majestic views in the Fanes Sennes and Braies Nature Park.Difficulty Level : E, with possible fixed rope route: EEA        

•  Excursion no.  3

   thursday 01st, friday 02nd, and saturday 03rd of July 2010 

• at high altitudes along the magnificent Odles Route

High mountain excursion for good hikers and expert excursionists. Alpine guide Ernesto will take participants through Val Badia,Val di Funes and Val Gardena, along a breathtakingly beatiful route to admire the unique peaks of the Dolomites, the "Odles".Difficolty Level: EE for the "lento pede"  group or, with possible fixed rope route, EEA.  

• Excursion no. 4

  thursday 09th, friday 10th and saturday 11th of September 2010

• on the  Gran Pilastro Glacier to conquer 3500 meters.

High altitude outing for expert excursionists. Alpine guide Ernesto will take participants across the glacier and to the highest peak of the Eastern Alps: the Gran Pilanstro, on the border with Austria.Difficulty Level :EEA (with the possibility of an alternativ "lento pede" route with an EE difficulty level)

• Excursion no. 5

   thursay 16th ,friday 17th and saturday 18th of September 2010

• from Italy to Austria on the glorious crests of the Carnic Alps along ancient celtic routes

High altidude excursion for good hikers.Alpine guide Ernesto will take participants through an incomparably gorgerous natural landscape and along the crests, where they can enjoy breathtaking views. A "lento pede" excursion can also be organised. Difficulty Level : E or EE

Dormitories may be used for overnight stays in refuges on excursions no. 2,3,4 and 5.

Please note: non members who take parte even in a single excursion can join the Club.

Cost per person for a week with halb board accomodation : € 530,00 in a double room, € 630,00 in a single room (if avaiable),or € 95,00 per day for shorter stays.
